I've got a historical fiction serial in the planning stages (set in the 3rd century BC when the Celts sacked Rome), plus some more character backstories for the Talon. I'm currently working on yet another unrelated short story that'll go into the Miscellaneous Debris category, lol.
Yes! I feel like I'm going on the adventure with them as I read. I should say all your descriptions of the settings and clothing and movement is spot on as well. All around great writing!

You have a solid foundation for a serial here. The world-building is delivered lightly without info-dumps, and the characters are distinct.

That's an interesting (and not entirely incorrect) observation! I don't think anyone else has made it, or at least no one's said anything about it.
The pace is set to fast! A wild ride so far and a fun band of characters.
